


Applications and benefits
Art therapy can be carried out alone or in combination with another form of psychotherapy or medication. There is the possibility of taking individual sessions or being part of an art therapy group. We can discuss the pro's and con's of the two models, but you are taking the decision in the end.
Good results have been shown with anxiety disorders, depression, burn out, PTSD and ADHD but also with school-related problems such as bullying, structural problems in a school class. Low self-confidence can also be alleviated.
Post-traumatic disorders are often triggered by physical events and, in turn, chronic pain or persistent tension can be caused by unresolved issues. Also for the treatment of depression, burn out and anxiety disorders it is crucial to work on body and mind as a unity.
